Galveston County Day at the Capital in Austin

The League City Regional Chamber will be traveling to Austin to attend Galveston County Day at the Capitol.

You are cordially invited to attend Galveston County Day at the Capitol on March 1st, 2023.  This is the official day to make our county's collective voice known to the Texas Legislature in Austin.

Next month, we will form teams of 3-4 people that will visit members of the Texas Legislature (House and Senate) in Austin on March 1st to deliver gift bags and invitations to the Official Galveston County Day reception. This is also a great opportunity to meet with legislators about issues important to you and your community. Later that evening, our county's Chambers of Commerce will host a reception for legislators, their staff, and the delegation of Galveston County residents in Austin that day. Bus transportation is available.
 
Tentative Schedule for 2023 Galveston County Day:
5:00am:                         Buses leave Galveston County (optional)
8:00am - 10:00am:        Check in and Registration at Capitol
10:00am:                       Group photo on Capitol steps
10:30am – 4:00pm:        Team meetings with Texas Legislators  
4:00pm – 7:00pm:          Galveston County Day Legislative Reception
7:00pm:                          Buses depart Austin (optional)
